Job description
Frozen Ropes is looking for a full and part-time Baseball Coach and Instructor who can learn and understand our principles and philosophies and serve as a great role model for every player.


Job Requirements:
  • Detailed knowledge of baseball
  • Willingness to teach within a system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and a love for the game
  • Available to work on select weekday afternoons through evenings and/or weekend days
  • Experience as an instructor or coach is preferred
Instructor Responsibilities include:
  • Instruction for players of all ages in group classes and camp, private lessons and parties held at our facility and at offsite locations
  • Training and adhering to Frozen Ropes instructional philosophies
  • Knowledge of all Frozen Ropes programs
  • Use of scheduling system to view upcoming classes, camps, lesson and other events, review of lesson notes
  • Use of video analysis system
  • Setting up rental equipment
  • Execution of daily projects including opening and closing procedures with end of day cleanup
  • Use of personal daily planner
Coaching Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting the head coach at all team practices, scrimmages, games and other team events
  • Providing input to head coach on team selection at tryouts
  • Representing Frozen Ropes at regional AAU meetings
  • Travel to weekend tournament (expenses will be paid)
  • Following Frozen Ropes travel team coaches guidelines
