Who is the Project Manager-Producer?


The Project Manager-Producer works closely with creative, marketing, media, and tech teams to lead projects from beginning to end and deliver incredible, integrated products and campaigns.


You have a passion for knowing the ins and outs of your clients' business, and a drive to deliver consistent and timely results in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, you love being a part of a team and shine in situations where organization and creativity are required. You are the calm, consistent presence that focuses the team and clears away roadblocks and distractions.


Key functions include:


  • Defining project vision and direction, demonstrating ownership over project success.
  • Managing program, retainer, and project scopes.
  • Developing, managing, and monitoring project schedules.
  • Proactively mitigating project risks.
  • Effectively communicating deliverable expectations.
  • Leading multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Owning and managing project health and budget reporting.
  • Leading and motivating cross-departmental project teams.
  • Facilitating and leading project-team meetings.
  • Facilitating client meetings and providing updates and forecasting to clients.
  • Contributing to resource management and forecasting across departments and agencies.
  • Contributing to company-wide process documentation and working to define and implement improvements.
  • Overseeing quality assurance.

What do You Need?


  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant PM experience at a digital marketing agency or advertising agency.

  • Candidate must have satisfactorily completed PMP coursework and/or training (PMP certification is a plus but not required).

  • Impressive knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm in the digital marketing/advertising space, including:

Experience with media, digital campaign strategy and execution, creative-driven marketing, digital strategy, websites, applications, technology, hosting, digital campaigns.

Experience across client budgets and industries.

Enthusiasm for meeting high expectations and delivering the best creative within schedule and budget.

The ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.

Enthusiasm for digital marketing and insatiable curiosity for the latest news, events, and trends.


  • Demonstrated effectiveness in the PM function, including:

Experience implementing digital project management methodology and leveraging a range of tools and tactics. Experience working with enterprise project management systems and leading important touchpoints such as kick-off and status meetings.

Ability to plan, schedule, and control project activities, applying creative and strategic thinking and technical/project management skills to satisfy project requirements.

A passion for solving problems and meeting tight deadlines.

High attention to detail and quality.

Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.


  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

  • High degree of ownership and accountability over projects.



Where is This Role?


Leap Group has a footprint in the Midwest, with offices in Louisville, KY, Cincinnati, OH, and Indianapolis, IN. While this role is open to remote candidates, preference will be given to those in or near our footprint.
