Shared Imaging is looking for a Full Time Lead MRI Technologist in our Dumfries, VA location. We are offering a $10,000 sign on bonus

Work Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
  • 37.5+/hours a week, 12.5 hour shifts
  • Quarterly travel to Roanoke, VA

Essential Functions:

  • Act as the Lead MRI Technologist for operational activities associated with Mobile and Full Time contracts within assigned territories. Assist Regional Supervisor/Manager with their supervisory responsibility for Technologists and Technologist-Aides that support Shared Imaging's customers in the region. Assist Regional Supervisor/Manager in supplying customers with complete and accurate performance and regulatory documentation of all information contractually required. Ensure Shared Imaging meets the standards set forth by our Customers and follows all policies and procedures set by the customers and agreed to by Shared Imaging.

    Build collaborative, working relationships with peers, co-workers, Supervisor, Manager and Customer staff to enhance customer service and engagement.

    Assist in the maintenance of radiation exposure documentation and be a leader in MR safety & compliance.

    Duties will include:

    • Ensure compliance binders are up to date on each trailer. Escalate any binders that are not compliant
    • Serve as a back up tech for planned or unplanned PTO
    • Create an optimal schedule for techs and tech aids on a regular basis
    • Annual protocol review for each location and be responsible for physician signatures
    • Ensure and facilitate employee training and new employee orientation for both technologists and technologists assistants with documentation.
    • Play an active role in employee recruitment and retention.

Requirements:

  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • A positive track record of strong customer engagement
  • Experience in contributing to a positive working environment with peers and management
  • Above average skill-level with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of the US healthcare industry, diagnostic imaging trends and technology.
  • Graduate of an approved radiology technology program and is ARRT registered by an approved registry organization
    • ARRT (MR) - OR - ARMRIT
    • BLS/CPR Certification
    • VA state radiology license
    • Ability to start IV's
  • Minimum of 2-3 years as an MRI Technologist
  • Travel to local facilities, based on location/s
