Summary: SouthWood is a custom sign fabrication company and is seeking a talented spray painter with a great attitude and work ethic. Come join us as our business grows, and we buildout are already amazing team. Applicant must have experience painting metal fabricated items or automotive spray paint experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Paint metals and various plastics with paint systems (automotive type paints).
- Applies masking over parts and areas that are not to be coated, fills cavities.
- Able to work quick with great quality
- Selects and mixes paint to produce desired color, using Paint Matching Database software.
- Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent and maintains work area.
- Read, analyze and interpret architectural shop drawings.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Bonus Experience:
- Ability to layer paint to create faux finishes (rust, weathered look...etc)

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
