As the Test Technician III, you will Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on complex components, devices, materials, products, processes and/or equipment.What you will be doing:
- Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on complex components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment.
- Work from intricate wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches, and interpret SOPs and safety rules.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in accordance with State and Federal regulations and maintain necessary certifications.
- Assist in training new team members and interface with other departments to ensure efficient information and material flow.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, optical, or mechanical malfunctions, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and modify complex electrical prototypes to address functional deviations.
- High school diploma or GED; 5+ years of relevant experience required.
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent field experience preferred.
- Strong decision-making, leadership skills, and experience with delicate components using ESD practices.
- Soldering, wire bonding experience, and safe chemical handling required.
- Proficiency in Access, Excel, and LabVIEW; MRP experience and good mechanical skills are a plus
