Dietary Aide

Come join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents.

We have an opening for a Dietary Aide Nursing Home – Part-Time.

** Shifts are for Holidays, On-Call and Weekends **

** Hourly Pay range = $17.93 to $19.70 **

Dietary Aide Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to follow orders and properly perform the assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
  • Job requires standing, lifting, walking, climbing, and has potential hazards from kitchen/food service.
  • Orientation and on the job training will be provided.

Dietary Aide Job Summary:

  • Assist serving of scheduled meals, beverages and snacks to residents.
  • Record food temperatures for each meal.
  • Obtain food and supplies as instructed.
  • Receive and store food and supplies.
  • Arrange tray cards, serves meals, and loads food carts.
