The Meat Cutter delivers the highest level of customer service and satisfaction by following the companys meat merchandising plan and trimming /preparing standard cuts of meat as outlined in the Meat Cutter Resource Manual.
Responsibilities
- Uses knives and power equipment, cuts and/or packages authorized beef, pork, and poultry items
- Prepares and places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to Save A Lot procedures
- Assist with product ordering
- Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain the cold chain and ensures meat quality
- Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to Save A Lot policy
- Experience preferred but willing to train a motivated applicant
- Must be 18 years of age
- Experience using manual pallet jacks and hand tools
- Experience with power equipment, including knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, and meat cutting power saw
- Ability to regularly lift 50lbs
Our Save A Lot began operations in 1990. We are a family owned licensee of Save A Lot and our second generation is currently operating the store. We, the owners, are in the store regularly. With your help, we will continue to operate into the third generation and beyond. Come join the family.
