Job Summary
We are seeking a Cafeteria Cashier and Lunch Service Server to join our team As a Cafeteria Cashier, you will be working in the cafeteria each day to prepare the food portions, set food out for students, work behind the counter to create made-to-order meals, assist students with meal selections, and work the registers to check out students during lunch and snack breaks. You will also maintain a clean, safe working environment by bussing dishes, maintaining salad bar and grab-go areas, cleaning food preparation areas, and keeping the cafeteria itself clean and tidy. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with technology and running a register, and is comfortable working on your feet for long stretches of time.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and portioning food for the cafeteria
  • Restock food and cafeteria items as needed
  • Serve customers as needed, and assist them in finding what they are looking for
  • Maintain a clean work environment at all times
  • Follow all food safety guidelines
  • Work the register and accept payment for food
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with best practices when it comes to food safety desired
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to submit background check
  • Flexible working across multiple locations in Orange County
  • Available Monday-Friday 9am-2pm
  • Fluent English/Spanish and or Mandarin Chinese a plus
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
