A successful Production Baker will:

• Manage the production and baking of pie-shells, pie tops, e-clairs, breads and more. You must be able to meet exacting standards. Enjoy an environment of learning and excellence in daily baking operations. The production baker will bring smiles to the faces of our customers through Kneaders recipes and products.

• This work includes daily physical activity as you work quickly and lift up to 50 lb bags in the kitchen. Successful candidates will thrive on a high volume production environment where a high sense of urgency goes hand in hand with our culture. Is it stressful at times?.....Yes. A good Kneaders baker will not internalize this stress, they will overcome it in a professional way.

Must be able to lift heavy items (50+lbs above waist)

This person will report to and communicate regularly with the Executive Corporate Baker.

Specific, desirable skills include:

Decision Making: This job is best suited for individuals who are accustomed to following detailed instructions regarding time-sensitive projects.

Communication: Professional verbal communication is required.

Time-Management: Deadlines are crucial in this role. Assists with daily operational needs, especially during peak seasons and holidays.

Work Environment:

This job occurs in a commercial kitchen environment with heavy duty mixers, slicers, industrial machines, ovens and more. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions. This is an active role, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects, bending, and standing, stooping, and walking, with or without the carrying of objects. Some weekend work will be required during peak times or holidays.

Required Education & Experience:

High School Diploma

Culinary Education preferred
