Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionThe Calibration Technician tests, calibrates, maintains, and repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments, and equipment for conformance to established standards.  The Calibration Technician also assists other departments with troubleshooting and repair of installed plant/process equipment.

Key Responsibilities·   Calibrate instruments and equipment.·   Maintain accurate calibration records.·   Troubleshoot instruments and equipment.·   Repair instruments and equipment·   Help set up laboratory and test equipment.·   Work with vendors to order necessary services, supplies, and parts for repair.·   Perform other related duties as required.·   Be familiar with and understand all applicable MSDS’s and Emergency Action Plan EHS-G-002.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3-5 years related experience preferred.  Effective oral and written communication skills, effective time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, good judgment, and advanced computer skills.
  • 2-4 year College Degree, Military Training, or equivalent work experience.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay.  The starting hourly base pay for this role is targeted to be between $24.00 - $28.00.
