We are seeking Behaviorists for our Adult Day Habilitation Programs in Union, Essex, Middlesex, and Somerset counties. The positions will provide quality behavioral programming for day program participants in accordance with the Division of Developmental Disabilities Policy and Procedure Manual, the Manual of Standards for Community Residences for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and the Supports Program Policies and Procedures Manual established by the New Jersey State Department of Human Services, Department of Developmental Disabilities. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Developing, writing and monitoring approved behavior support plans
  • Teaching and modeling behavioral strategies for direct care staff
  • Completing fee-for-service documentation and billing. developing, writing and monitoring approved plans
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred; candidates may be considered who possess 3-5 years relevant experience in place of degree. RBT preferred.
  • Experience with Handle with Care preferred.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities is required.
  • Experience with the autism population is required.
  • Excellent computer, reading, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Valid NJ driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Will need to have flexible hours, specifically 1 late day a week.
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time.
