Position Name: Multimodality Radiology Technologist (CT/X-Ray)

Location: New London, NH 03257

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting both local and travel Candidates

Pay Rate: Local-$2800 to Travel-$3120 weekly

Unit: All units

Shift: 10-hr, Days, 11.00a - 9.30p

Schedule: 40 hours / week, 4 shifts per week, Monday-Thursday, No weekend or On-call, Some holiday coverage may be needed

Position Requirements:

  • Recent/current experience in X-Ray/CT: 2+ years - Required
  • Prior Travel Nursing experience Highly preferr
  • Must have experience and/or be comfortable using the below equipment:
  1. New GE Apex 64 slice dual energy scanner in CT.
  2. X-ray: everything is Philips the platform is the same on all systems regardless of model.
  3. Philips for mobile, fluoro, and general x-ray.
  4. Carestream mobile x-ray unit.

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Radiology Technology or an equivalent Required
  • Bachelor degree in Radiology Technology or an equivalent Highly preferred
  • Current ARRT (R) (CT) - Required
  • ARRT CT Certification - Required
  • New Hampshire MIRT - Required
  • BLS Certifications from AHA - Required

Job Description:

  • Multimodality Technologist in this position performs general radiologic procedures along with CT and/or DEXA procedures requiring advanced technical skills.
  • Displays a high understanding of complicated requests from internal and external providers.
  • Performs X-Ray, CT and/or DEXA procedures without constant supervision.
  • Ability to work in many different areas providing coverage for Outpatients, Inpatients, Portables, Emergency Room, OR, and Fluoroscopy.
  • Expected to perform at the highest potential of their license.
  • Must have experience and/or be comfortable using the below equipment:
