Job Summary: The Dishwasher is essential to maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen. This role involves washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as ensuring that all items are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. The Dishwasher supports the kitchen team by ensuring that clean dishes and equipment are readily available for food preparation and service. Full-time and Part-time opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dishwashing: Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including the proper disposal of waste and recycling.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain dishwashing machinery, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Stocking: Assist with stocking clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in their designated places.
  • Support: Provide support to kitchen staff by ensuring that they have the necessary tools and equipment for food preparation and service.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a hygienic work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy items, and work in a hot and noisy environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not necessary.


Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
