This full- or part-time, entry-level food service position earns a competitive wage of $12.50 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience. ABOUT MAMA'S ON THE HALF SHELL

In 2003, our opening day was the realization of five years of dreaming, discussing, and collecting. It is our hope that when our customers are with us, they feel welcomed into our home with open arms. There really is no average age at Mama's on the Half Shell, making our restaurant a true destination for great food and celebration. As native "Baltimoreans," we felt Baltimore needed a thoughtful, classic seafood restaurant. Our menu is important, but we also want our guests to come in and feel comfortable for any occasion, be it a business meeting, Sunday football, a birthday, an anniversary, or just some time out. Our restaurant is a place where you could "bring it or bring it down." We're the neighborhood bar that everyone wants to go to

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT BUSSER - FOOD RUNNER

As a Restaurant Busser - Food Runner, you are vital to the operations of our restaurant. You are constantly walking around the dining room, ensuring that our guests have water. If there are any empty plates, you take them back to the kitchen. After guests leave, you clean up the dirty dishes, wipe everything down, and re-set the table so that it's ready for the next party.

When food is ready, you help the server to bring it to the table. Extremely knowledgeable about our menu, you ensure that every dish is high-quality. Additionally, you help keep the dining room tidy by sweeping, taking out the trash, and more. You love working in a position that keeps you moving the whole shift and take pride in improving the experience of our guests

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT BUSSER - FOOD RUNNER

  • Communication skills
  • Ability to keep up with the demands of a busy restaurant
