Diesel Mechanic

The qualified candidate will run diagnostics on vehicles, communicate and work closely with team members to meet company goals.   • General inspection of vehicles, trailers, equipment, Run and analysis diagnostic testing, minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspections, tire rotations and oil changes
  • Knowledge and understanding of ABS systems, suspension, steering, leaks, wheel alignment and balancing, electrical systems
  • Inspect and replace bearings, lights, breaks, coolant
  • Maintain parts inventory, requesting purchase orders for ordering of parts and necessary items,
  • Collaborate with team in diagnosing problems with vehicles and plan repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
  • Coordinating with external repair shops
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
  • Must have mechanical tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
  • Excellent oral, reading and writing skills
  • ASE Diesel Certification a plus
  • Must have valid Class B driver's license, Class A license +plus
  • TWIC Card a plus
  • Weekend rotation
  • Spanish language a plus
