Core Responsibilities
• Review, process, monitor and manage payroll activities
• Gathering data related to employee payroll and time worked
• Reviewing and verifying time and attendance records
• Handling tax withholdings and tax reports
• Preparing and distributing company’s payroll
• Making sure that all hours, benefits, and deductions are logged appropriately and that all payroll accounts remain balanced
• Provide Human Resource support services
• Ensure employee compliance with all company policies and other regulatory guidelines
• Maintain employee records and update as needed
• Facilitate communication between management/department heads and employees
• Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
• Managing a client database and preparing reports
• Performing other general office and administrative duties as directed by executive management/ownership
Requirements and Skills
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and management
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, required
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
- Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is preferred
