Job Title: Multi-Site Maintenance Technician

Reports To: Property Manager

Property Details: Lawrence Senior is a 60-unit Senior, tax credit development located in the historic Lawrence Senior High School. Canal Gardens is a 26-unit multifamily tax credit development with affordable living near Indy's canal walk. Wexford on Bishops Pond is a 35-unit senior tax credit development with highly desirable patio homes.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform general punch requirements
  • Grounds and equipment upkeep
  • Snow removal
  • Basic service requests such as: Replacing lightbulbs/light kits, Unclogging toilets, Garbage disposal installation/repair, Basic water heater repair, Basic cleaning and resident services
  • Repairing plumbing, appliance, electrical, and carpentry
  • Must possess adequate communication skills to deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain work order systems, logs, and other records as needed
  • Timely reporting of incidents that include property loss or work-related injuries
  • On-call duty and weekend work schedules to be expected to emergency maintenance service
Requirements:

Essential Qualifications

  • 3-year minimum experience in the Maintenance Field
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass a criminal background check
  • Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems
  • EPA and HVAC Certifications preferred
  • Must have strongly developed intuition; must be able to analyze problems and find solutions
  • Basic Knowledge and understanding of Schematic Drawings
