Biology Teacher

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Biology as well as experience working with students at the high school level. This position is an integral part of Cathedral High School's Science Department and will require the candidate to create a welcoming and engaging classroom environment for all students. As a Biology teacher you are responsible for teaching students hands-on, inquiry/project based lessons to enhance problem solving and critical thinking skills. You are accountable for preparing engaging sessions making the students excited to learn about science. To be successful in this role, you should possess a thorough understanding of various science concepts and theories. Collaborate with the STEM team and across disciplines. You should promote a positive, purposeful and professional working atmosphere that encourages cooperation and challenge whilst valuing the contribution that individuals make to the success of the department.
