Job description:

We have an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Machinist on our second shift. In this role, you will be a part of our newly-formed second shift, which operates from 3 pm-1:30 am Mon-Thurs. As a machinist of the second shift, you will work with a small crew of self-directed individuals to manage multiple vertical milling machines.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple CNC vertical milling machines to maximize machine utilization and production output.
  • Familiarity machining new parts using HSM Works, prototyping and running new program prove-outs is a plus.
  • Perform all aspects of CNC vertical mill operation including setups, production machining, and part inspection.
Requirements:


  • 1 year experience programming with HSM Works and Solid Works highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC milling machines, machining steels, aluminum and plastic required.
  • Ability to self-manage with high integrity with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiently set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines and report output on a daily basis.
  • Read drawings in English
  • Proper use of required measuring tools
