A day in the life will include:

  • Leading the Dev Ops of the software for the most important US based aerospace account
  • Driving the technical and professional relationship as you collaborate closely with the external cloud team of clients, as well as the internal Dev Ops team
  • Deploying solutions using infrastructure as code from GitLab in Terraform, ARM
  • Managing and optimizing data in various databases like PostgresSQL and DynamoDB
  • Monitor workloads using ELK & Grafana, Prometheus, & Azure Monitor

Your profile should include most of the following:

  • You are a “U.S. Person” (for contractual reasons) to include U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylee. (****Sorry, H1B candidates are not eligible contractually****)
  • 5+ years of overall professional expertise as an Azure Dev Ops Engineer, in a Linux environment
  • Strong, senior level expertise with CI/CD tools like GitLab, TeamCity or TFS.
  • Senior level experience with Docker and Kubernetes, specifically around configuration, hardening and security setup.
  • Strength in network topologies and network security.
  • You have experience with databases such as PosgreSQL and DynamoDB, as well as elastic search including application and infrastructure monitoring with Kibana & Grafana.
  • You have a customer-oriented mindset and know how to balance the demands of the customer with internal priorities and constraints.
  • Bonus round: Microsoft Azure and Cloud Native certifications.
