Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience with machine repairs, and a solid understanding of industryial processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment, including pumps, saws, and more. Knowledge of PLC systems and experience with urethane or plastics are highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery and equipment, including pumps, saws, conveyors, and more.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • PLC Knowledge: Utilize and interpret PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to troubleshoot and program as needed.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Update technical documentation and schematics as necessary.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize impact on production schedules.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing improvements in maintenance processes and practices to enhance efficiency and equipment reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery, including pumps, saws, and related equipment.
  • PLC Systems: Familiarity with PLC systems is a strong plus. The ability to program and troubleshoot PLCs is highly desirable.
  • Material Knowledge: Experience with urethane and plastics is a significant advantage.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical certification or degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
