First Wash

FOUNDATION AUTOMOTIVE is seeking an experienced Automotive Cleaning Specialist (First Wash) to join our team at Jones Chevrolet (Humboldt). As an automotive cleaning specialist, you are responsible for cleaning and washing vehicles for their exterior and interior. Duties include greeting customers, soap application, cleaning dirt and spraying rims and tires, spray windows using cleaning agent, wax application, rinsing away soap, car debris removal, vacuuming to suck debris and dirt, rear window cleaning, as well as cleaning console and dash using a soft cloth. Other duties may include ensuring vehicle valuables remain undisturbed, delivering receipts, and directing the client to the car after service.

Responsibilities:

• Using liquids like waxes, polishes, and cleaners to add shine to the body, wheels and glass.
• Cleaning windows and polishing surfaces
• Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations, or picking owners or drivers up if needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Previous experience in a car-wash environment or washing cars is preferred.
• Acceptable driving record
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to use a variety of car cleaning products and tools.
