Do you take pride in providing a clean and flawless painting? You might be a great fit to join our team We're hiring a reliable and process-driven painter. Our painter will perform a variety of duties including scaffold assembly, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint, and painting interior or exterior walls. Our ideal candidate has previous work experience as a house and or commercial painter and is comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools to get the job done. Compensation:$17 per hour
Responsibilities:- Clean up work area once project is finished
- Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
- Meet with customers to understand what they want and make suggestions
- Use job specifications to mix and match paint and stains
- Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces
- Experience with painting tools and techniques is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates
- Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required
- Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required
