We're searching for a skilled and enthusiastic full-time night shift Feed Operation Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Gold-Eagle Cooperative in the heart of Eagle Grove, IA. This position earns a competitive pay range of $25 - $30 per hour based on experience and an enticing $1,500 sign-on bonus. We also offer excellent benefits such as:

As a full-time night shift Feed Operation Maintenance Mechanic, your typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 3:00 am, with flexibility based on organizational demand.

THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proficency in the fabrication of mill equipment and an understanding of feed department tools
  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A high level of customer service focus and a commitment to safety procedures
  • A positive attitude, calm under pressure, and a strong work ethic

Experience in feed operations, maintenance, and fabrication is preferred

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A FEED OPERATION MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

As a night shift Feed Operation Maintenance Mechanic, you'll conduct routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring the seamless operation of our feed processing equipment. You will also collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime, all while keeping safety at the forefront. Your keen eye will detect potential issues, and your proactive approach will eliminate unscheduled downtime. You will engage in effective communication with production employees and address equipment concerns.
