We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to PRG menu standard.


Monday through Friday 7am - 3pm shift.   Opportunities for overtime during special events.

 

Pay is $18-$21 per hour depending on experience.


THIS IS A FRONT OF THE HOUSE SAUTE GRILL POSITION. Looking for someone who knows how to use a WOK for our Asian station.


Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
  • Expedite orders to customers (requires customer interaction)
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

Requirements

  • Proven experience as cook
  • Experience using various techniques to cook meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods
  • Create sauces and gravies to accompany dishes
  • Arranging food for an appealing presentation
  • Keeping workstation well-operated
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good communication skills
