Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator/Programmer to join our dynamic team in Portland, OR. If you have a passion for precision machining and a knack for troubleshooting, this is the perfect opportunity for you You will be working with Mazak CNC machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your expertise in deburring, blueprint reading, and operating CNC laser cutters and routers will be essential to our success.

Shift 1: Mon-Thur 4x10 hour shift

Shift 2: Fri-Sun 3x12 hour shift

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain Mazak CNC laser cutters and routers to produce high-quality components.
  • Program machines using MasterCam
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Perform deburring and finishing processes to meet quality standards.
  • Nest parts to minimize waste and maximize output
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines to minimize downtime, perform PM's on machines.
  • Utilize calipers and micrometers to measure and verify dimensions of finished products.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Laser Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • MasterCam programming experience required
  • Strong deburring skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot CNC machines effectively.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC laser cutters and routers.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.

You should be proficient in:

  • Deburring Experience
  • Troubleshooting CNC Machines
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Blueprint Reading

Salary info:
