We are currently seeking a skilled IT Manager to join our dynamic corporate team in providing technical support and maintaining our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems by resolving technical issues, assisting users with IT-related problems, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support company applications and systems (PC& laptops, Windows, Printers, storage, network, VPN, Office 365
  • Supervise and support all approved software applications.
  • Responsible for keeping computer systems updated with latest operating system and application patches.
  • Assist coordination of adds/moves and changes
  • Provisioning and system setup for new hires.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware repairs, delivery of peripherals, or other fixes as determined.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Manage projects start to finish such as server upgrades
  • Respond to incidents reported by email and phone calls
  • Perform other miscellaneous non-recurring special projects on daily, weekly and/or monthly basis.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects.
  • Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including but not limited to: hazard communication, PPE requirements and attending quarterly safety training.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.

Qualification Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT management or related field

Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate IT.

Skills and Abilities (May be representative but not all-inclusive, of those commonly associated with this position):

  • Excellent technical knowledge of network and computer hardware, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues, hard drive errors, network drive and printer mapping.
  • Ability to review, evaluate and recommend new technologies.
  • PC & Laptop and Office 365
  • Networking (VPN/VLAN/SWITCH/Meraki)
  • MS Windows OS, MS Exchange, MS SQL
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and able to effectively multi-task.
  • Flexible to open and changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.
