Position Overview: As a Host and Busser at Eximius Associates, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. The ideal candidate will be personable, proactive, and able to handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, maintaining the cleanliness of service areas, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist with seating arrangements, ensuring guests are seated promptly and comfortably.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all dining and service areas throughout the event.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure a smooth flow of service.
  • Assist with event setup and teardown, including arranging furniture and setting up equipment.
  • Support servers and other team members by delivering food and beverages as needed.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide information about the event and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the success of each event.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on providing exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varying hours as needed.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, including standing for long periods and carrying trays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or related fields are a plus.
