Job DescriptionJob Description

We're looking for SKILLED welders and pipefitters for a 7 week contract.

Welders must have experience ideally with Stainless, Pipe TIG Welding, Mostly socket weld plus some butt welding.
CANDIDATES MUST ALSO BE WILLING TO DO OTHER WORK INCLUDING MECHANICAL WORK
The position is a year long contract working 60-70 hours a week.

Drive in and drive out pay is available

$175 per day per diem

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Examine detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirements
  • Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools or welding equipment
  • Alter dimensions to fit specifications and interpret measurements
  • Ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and machine shop skills
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ year "hands-on" TIG welding experience
  • Experienced math skills are needed due to our technological needs
  • Strength to lift objects during the fabrication/assembly process is required
