Oracle Cloud Fusion Techno-Functional Consultant

This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Fusion modules, particularly in the areas of Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Cost Management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and optimizing these modules to support our complex manufacturing and logistics operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proven experience in implementing and configuring Oracle Cloud Fusion modules, specifically:
  • Manufacturing (MFG):Production Planning, Shop Floor Control, Work Order Management, Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Inventory Management (IM):Item Master Data Management, Inventory Valuation & Costing, Subinventory Management
  • Cost Management (CM):Cost Rollups, Activity Rates, Standard Costing
  • Experience with Distribution Management (DM) is a plus.
  • Functional Expertise:
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing and logistics processes.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations within Oracle Cloud Fusion.
  • Experience with defining work definitions, adding components, and understanding cost roll-ups.
  • Configuration and Testing:
  • Proficient in configuring Oracle Cloud Fusion modules to meet specific business needs.
  • Ability to thoroughly test configurations and ensure functionality across different environments.
  • Inventory Movement:
  • Solid understanding of the financial implications of inventory transfers between organizations.
  • Ability to configure systems to ensure accurate accounting entries during inventory movements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation methodologies.
  • Understanding of data migration techniques within Oracle Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (low priority).
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes (low priority).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a relevant techno-functional role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
