Delaware Otolaryngology, a privately-owned ENT practice in Lewes, DE is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist or Part Time Audiologist to add to our team. We have been helping our hearing and balance patients since 1995 and we are passionate about providing both the best hearing healthcare technology available and the best patient experience possible.
The Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist will be responsible for hearing evaluations for all ages, fittings, and follow-up care. Additionally, our Provider will provide counsel, guidance and education to patients in order to help them realize the best solution to treat their hearing loss. Ideal candidates will have specific experience in both testing and selling hearing amplification devices.

The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:
- Conduct diagnostic comprehensive hearing evaluations
- Executes a treatment plan through counseling and education
- Recommend and fit proper hearing devices based on patient’s needs
- Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, and reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of all business and patient information
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
- May also be involved in marketing and public outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, and senior living events
To ensure success candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients
- Masters or Doctorate in Audiology or Hearing Instrument Specialist Licensure
- Active DE Dispensing license or eligible for licensure
