  • 📍 Location: Margate, FL 33063
  • 💵 Salary: $36.62 - $48.93/hr based on experience

Join Our Dedicated Team: A highly respected 289-bed medical center, is seeking a passionate NICU Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and enhancing the lives of infants with communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • 🗣️ Conduct subjective assessments of speech and language during spontaneous conversations.
  • 📊 Administer objective tests to evaluate communication strengths and weaknesses.
  • 📈 Develop and implement tailored treatment programs to improve patient communication abilities.
  • 📝 Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
  • 🤝 Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient placement and care.

Qualifications:

  • 🎓 Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology.
  • 🆔 Active Speech Pathologist licensure.
  • ❤️ Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • 🌟 Minimum of one year of NICU SLP experience necessary.

Work Schedule:

  • 🕒 Full-time position; days with rotating weekends.
