Financial Controller

JOB SUMMARY
Intex is seeking a Controller who will be responsible to oversee and/or perform all the aspects Finance & Accounting Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Cash Management and Cash Flow Projections
· Timely Month End Closings
· Customer Invoicing for Tooling or Steel projects
· Maintain job costing for Tooling or Steel projects
· Inventory Management
· ERP System responsibility & thorough knowledge
· Metric Reporting – Daily, Weekly, Monthly
· Budget Preparation
· Manage company’s insurance coverage, including compliance
· Manage the company’s compliance with local and federal regulatory matters
· Handles all tax return reporting, along with providing information to outside accounting fim for preparation.
- Adept in fiscal management principles and processes, including resource management and needs assessment.
MANAGERIAL ROLE
There are supervisory responsibilities:
· Oversees the daily workflow of the accounting department.
· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications
· Work experience: At least 3 years at an upper level Accounting role including 2 years in manufacturing.
· Education: BS or BA in related field or equivalent experience.
· Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft office skills.
· Organization skills: excellent organizational, ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed.
· Cross-functional skills: ability to work well cross-functionally with the IDTs; provides excellent internal and external customer service.
· Communication skills: excellent written and verbal skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
· Problem solving skills: good problem-solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
