Join our dynamic team at HudMed, a leading provider of maintenance and sanitization services for medical facilities. As part of the Ruh Family Companies, we specialize in ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of medical instruments and equipment, helping healthcare facilities meet their inspection needs.

We are seeking a mechanically inclined Medical Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in a mechanical-related field, a strong desire to learn alongside our senior technicians, and excellent attention to detail. This position will primarily be located in our shop but will involve travel and occasional weekend work to support business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians in the maintenance and repair of medical instruments and equipment.
  • Learn and master the proper handling and care techniques for various medical instruments.
  • Perform routine inspections and repairs as needed.
  • Utilize computer skills to record and track maintenance activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all work performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements:
  • Mechanical inclination with general experience in a related field.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow alongside senior technicians.
  • Proficiency in computer skills for record-keeping and tracking.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work weekends and occasional overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
