Job DescriptionJob Description

One Vision is seeking to hire Full- Time, Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Mason City for our hourly services.

Our Hourly service DSP covers supports that are needed for short periods of time.

We are looking for you if you love:

  • Providing innovative ways to support those we serve.

Starting hourly wage $17.00

As a Direct Support Professional, you support individuals with daily living skills including housekeeping, laundry, cooking, hygiene, and self-administration of medications.

While supporting people with disabilities, you learn their individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, and likes and dislikes. You encourage community engagement by driving the individuals you support to appointments and leisure activities in addition to supporting them with finances and grocery shopping.

Requirements

  • No experience necessary We provide necessary on-the-job training to care for our individuals.
  • Basic computer skills needed to complete documentation.
  • Provide a current driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Requires some physical activity bending, kneeling, stooping. Lifting or use of lifts for some individuals.
  • Offer of employment is contingent upon background check, drug screen, and physical assessment to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
