Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Manager with a strong background in financial systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial products, systems, and market trends, coupled with exceptional strategic thinking and project management skills. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development and optimization of our financial systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision:

    • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for financial systems.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
    • Define and prioritize product features and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Product Development:

    • Lead the product lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver high-quality products.
    • Create detailed product roadmaps, user stories, and specifications.

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters for financial systems.
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
    • Ensure alignment between product development and business goals.

  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance against goals.
    • Analyze user feedback and data to drive continuous product improvements.
    • Implement best practices for product management and development processes.

  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure products comply with relevant financial regulations and standards.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
    • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification is highly desirable.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on financial systems or fintech products.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and launching financial products.

  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel).
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
