Tamiami is seeking a driven and knowledgeable IT Manager to oversee and manage our IT systems and networks. The ideal candidate will ensure our technological infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our company in achieving its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee the operation of IT systems and networks, ensuring their reliability and performance.
  • Technical Support: Handle the escalation of technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Deployment of Applications and Systems: Assist in the rollout of new software applications and systems to improve business operations.
  • Security Protocols: Enforce IT security policies and procedures, safeguarding company data from internal and external threats.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of IT assets and software licenses to ensure all resources are accounted for and up-to-date.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Contribute expertise to IT project planning, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • System Audits: Conduct systematic audits to assure the integrity and security of the IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining business continuity.
  • User Management: Manage the addition of new users and the removal of former users from company systems to maintain security and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Possession of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: Demonstrated workplace experience in a computer and IT-related role, e.g., tech support, systems specialist, or IT specialist. This experience should lay the foundation for a professional trajectory toward management.
  • Technological Proficiency: Must be adept in using all required hardware and software systems critical to the company’s operations.
  • Network Management: Exhibits a strong understanding of network architecture and data communication.
