About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and help establish a best-in-class accounting function.


The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Reconciling account balances and bank statements.
  • Maintaining the general ledger.
  • Preparing month-end close procedures.
  • Managing account payables (AP) and account receivables (AR).
  • Ensuring accurate recording of every transaction for business transparency on performance and resource allocation.

This role is critical to our business operations, providing accurate data and documentation at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile account balances and bank statements.
  • Maintain and oversee the general ledger.
  • Prepare and manage month-end close procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.
  • Handle complex journal entries and build efficient accounting systems.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.


Candidate Requirements

  • Strong technical accounting experience: GAAP, AP, AR knowledge and experience, closing books, reconciliation, complex journal entries, and building systems.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in tech, software/SAAS, startup, or larger corporate environments.


Nice-to-Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Knowledge and experience with the software Maxio.


Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or US Resident
