Job Title: Entry-Level Event Assistant
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Job Type: Full-Time

The Entry-Level Event Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social gatherings. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the event planning industry and develop valuable skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and organization of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and logistics management.
  • Client Support: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide excellent customer service throughout the event planning process.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site assistance during events, including setup, registration, attendee management, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as data entry, maintaining event schedules, and preparing event materials.
  • Vendor Liaison: Assist in coordinating with vendors, including caterers, decorators, and AV technicians, to ensure all event components are delivered as planned.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Help with promoting events through social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels as needed.
  • Post-Event Activities: Support post-event activities, including gathering feedback, processing invoices, and assisting with event debriefs.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in event planning, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
