We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with our internal team who possesses the following
experience:
  • Solid foundation of US GAAP reporting
  • Month-end close
  • Consolidation accounting preferred
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Financial analysis and budgeting preferred
  • Full-cycle A/P and A/R
  • G/L reconciliations
  • Revenue recognition
  • Payroll interface, full cycle processing - ADP and or Gusto preferred
  • Support for various accounting projects
  • Hands on experience with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite
  • Hands on experience with Bill.com, Expensify or Concur,  ADP and or Gusto
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with startups, technology and/or life science companies
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, MBA or CPA preferred
  • Public accounting audit training and experience required
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience
  • 1+ years’ experience with Bill.com
  • 1+ years’ experience working at a start-up company
  • 2+ years’ experience with QuickBooks online
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment
  • SAAS and/or Life Sciences experience is a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite and Dynamics
  • Experience with Expensify and or Concur
  • Spotlight reporting a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Superior written and oral communication skills

The range shared is for the expectation as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced or more senior than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
 
Salary range for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area is: $90k-$110k
