Our client, in collaboration with Randstad, is seeking a skilled Info Security Senior Engineer specializing in EDR Deployment to join their dynamic team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in network design, system integration, and application development, playing a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to company and IT security policies, standards, and governmental guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in network design, system integration, and application development to support project teams in meeting security requirements and industry best practices.
- Implement automation techniques using scripting tools to streamline operational processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), least privilege, and access automation methods.
- Exhibit hands-on experience with API security and integration of public cloud APIs, while also contributing to the implementation of DevOps principles and managing code repositories.
- Generate comprehensive follow-up reports, including technical findings, feedback, and resolution steps, to support Root Cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enhance the SIEM platform and overall detection program.
- Possess familiarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in information security roles, with a focus on EDR deployment and network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
