In the Cloud Architect role, you will be responsible for maintaining architecture for the organization's software, hardware, and applications needs. An important task in this role is establishing best cloud practices across the company. Success in this role will be displayed by identifying and selecting the most cost-efficient cloud providers while ensuring easy access to data storage.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designs and builds scalable cloud infrastructure using a chosen cloud provider
  • Ensures data privacy across all cloud platforms
  • Provides guidance and leadership on designing performance solutions within a cloud platform
  • Provides reasoned opinions about the cloud platform's design
  • Provides cost-efficient solutions
  • Maintains positive relations with cloud vendors

Cloud Architect Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with cloud platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud systems
  • Proficient in data analytics such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
