Job Summary
We are seeking a General Maintenance Technician and Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. This may include keeping the worksite clean through the collection of trash, operating power tools, setting up temporary structures, or other necessary tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products
- Provide assistance to plumbers on job sites as required
- Transport materials and equipment from warehouse to job sites
- Maintains and operates power tools, small engines and/or industrial equipment
- Fuels, cleans, light maintenance on company dispatch vehicles
- Performs manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair
- Performs warehouse inventory and restocking
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Reliable and works well in teams and independently
- Strong communication skills
- CDL (Preferred-not required)
- Knowledge of power tools, small engines, and industrial machinery (Required)
- Commute/relocate to office (Required)
- Ability to pass a drug and background check
