JOB SUMMARY:

The Imaging and Diagnostic staff functions and provides care for the patient under the Imaging Manager and Radiologist direction. This is a Full-time position located in Woodstock, GA. The start date will be November 25, 2024.

ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS:

  • Set up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure.
  • Enter data into patient electronic medical records.
  • Schedule patients for tests and procedures as needed.
  • Manage phone calls and fax correspondence as needed.
  • Inventory and stock medical supplies and materials.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Successful completion of a formal program of study accredited by the Joint Review Committee and American Registry of Radiologic Technology in CT (R,CT) certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as Radiologic technologist preferred.
  • 2 years of current experience as a CT Tech and can perform all diagnostic CT exams according to the established policy and procedure.
  • Current BLS card from the American Heart Association, prior to permanent hire date.
  • Able to complete preliminary imaging report for the Radiologist, experience with PACS preferred.
  • Experience with GE equipment - 16 slice.
