As a Maintenance Technician, you will work in a highly automated facility, and conduct daily routine checks on equipment, and service machinery including but not limited to conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, labelers, fillers, etc. This position is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, team player traits, ability to work independently, and excellent technical ability.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available. Must have the flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Hourly Wage: $30.00 - $38.00 hr. depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily routine checks on equipment to detect damage or needs for repairs on equipment.
  • Service machines include but are not limited to conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, fillers, depalletizes, labelers, TETRA packaging equipment is preferred.
  • Install, start, and shut down equipment following company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Carry out necessary logistics work, including receiving goods, preparation of goods for upcoming production orders, and loading of bulk products for shipment.
  • Complete production line assignments, maintaining strict safety standards.
  • Maintain and repair PLC, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, machines, and all associated hardware with minimal supervision.
  • Support operators when equipment malfunctions and work with them to correct the problem.
  • Participate in the development of team members through training and collaboration.
  • Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.

Requirements:

  • Must have 5 to 10 years of experience in a food/beverage environment.
  • Must be able to relocate to Ogden, Utah for the position.
  • Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits is required.
  • Electromechanical competency sensors, drives, HMI, etc.
  • Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS
  • Ability to read manuals and find parts and blueprints.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Fast learner and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
