Overview:

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's information technology infrastructure. This role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities, including PC tech support, systems administration, information systems management, cybersecurity, and HMI programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. PC Tech:
    • Manage software installations and configurations.
    • Address and resolve PC-related issues.
    • Oversee local equipment purchases and ensure optimal functionality.
  2. Systems Administration:
    • Administer VMware and other server systems.
    • Manage firewalls, networking, and switches.
    • Identify and implement new and relevant systems.
    • Handle procurement processes for servers and related infrastructure.
    • Active Directory administration
    • Linux administration
  3. Information Systems:
    • Act as a BI (Business Intelligence) super user, guiding users and defining needs.
    • Act as an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) super user, providing guidance and understanding user needs.
    • Participate in locating and implementing new information systems.
    • Collaborate with BI and ERP programmers (if available).
  4. Cybersecurity:
    • Understand cybersecurity risks and implement solutions.
    • Manage existing security solutions.
    • Identify and implement new security systems.
    • Develop and manage cyber procedures in close coordination with risk management.
  5. HMI:
    • Program Human-Machine Interfaces, such as Cimplicity.
    • Ensure effective communication and interaction between humans and machines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT management roles.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity risks and risk management.
  • Proficiency in systems administration, networking, and HMI programming.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • BI and ERP programming skills.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity procedures and best practices.
