Houseperson

The Residence Inn by Marriott in Middletown is seeking a part and/or full time House person for our hotel located on Tower Drive Middletown NY. Currently seeking 3 to 4 evenings per week-hours vary but are typically 4pm-1030pm.

The House person job duties and requirements include but are not limited to the following:

• Clean public areas according to standards
• Vacuum/mop public space carpet/floors throughout the building
• Assist with snow/ice removal on walkways
• Clean, dust and polish furniture
• Assist with light maintenance
• Clean pool area
• Cleans public bathrooms
• Maintain cart and supplies
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries/assist front desk with special requests
• Other housekeeping duties as assigned

You must have the ability to pull and push work-related equipment such as a the ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull. The ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time and the ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights.
