Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

CNC set-up and run machinist for quick turn prototype and mid volume production parts.

Shifts available: M-Fr 6AM-2:30PM and Swing Shift: M-F 2PM-1030PM.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To include but not limited to the following:

- CNC mill set-up and operation of parts with varying complexity and precision (mostly high precision)

- Custom or standard fixture development and setup, dial in fixtures.

- Run production parts as needed.

- Use of custom FSW tooling, verify height offsets and tools.

- 5s and department cleanliness.

- Installation of lids/kits prior to friction stir welding.

- Loading and unloading heavy parts and fixtures.

Requirements:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Must have 1+ years experience in precision CNC Machining.

- Experienced in the set-up and run of both 3 and 4 axis vertical CNC mills.

- Excellent print reading skills. Knowledgeable about GD&T.

- Experienced with multiple metrology tools for measuring and recording part dimensions.

- Experienced with metal (aluminum) machining.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Metal to metal impact with hammer.

- Steel toe or composite shoes.

- May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

- Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
