About the Role

We are searching for a talented and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our growing team in Las Colinas, TX As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure built on Azure Data Platform (ADP). You will be responsible for leading the migration from Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to ADP, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.

This is an in-office position requiring your presence 5 days a week. The interview process will consist of approximately 4 rounds conducted virtually via Zoom.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Lead the migration from IICS to ADP, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Manage and mentor Junior and Mid-Level Data Engineers, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs and design solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the data pipeline.
  • Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the data engineering space.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Lead Data Engineer or similar role (5+ years)
  • Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (Azure Data Platform preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics)
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
