Job Summary:
As a Detailer at Mercedes-Benz of Rochester, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles on our lot are clean, presentable, and ready for our valued customers. You will work closely with our sales and service departments to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in all vehicles. This is a full-time, customer service role in the auto industry, located in Rochester, Minnesota.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this role is $18 to $22 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and detail all vehicles on the lot, which may include washing, waxing, and buffing the exterior, vacuuming and steam cleaning the interior, and cleaning windows, mirrors, and door jambs.
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or imperfections and report them to the appropriate departments.
- Ensure all vehicles are stocked with supplies such as floor mats, seat covers, and air fresheners.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and submit orders when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the lot.
- Communicate with sales and service teams regarding vehicle availability and readiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers who visit the dealership.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
